Computer Science Student Society(CSSS)

The main aim of Computer Science Student Society(CSSS) is to enhance and motivate the talent of students of by providing them a platform to flourish their budding talent. As its prime duty, society promotes various activities to enhance social awareness. CSSS believes that every individual has different potential and ability, so we feel it as our prime responsibility to encourage this talent of our students.

Computer Science Student Society organize various technical and non-technical events to dig out the hidden talent of engineering students, so that they can explore their technical competence and utilize it in future, both for society as well as industry. The regular events under this society are:

      2020-21

      In Odd Semester:

      1. JASHAN-E-WATAN (one Flag, one Land, one Heart): It was organized on 14th August 2020, through this event students were asked to show their patriotism towards their country.
      2. CODER 7.0: This event was organized to enhance the technical skills of the students as they were asked to write down the code of the give problem statement on the hacker rank platform. Massive participation was observed.
      3. Virtual Treasure Hunt (Find your inklings): It was a fun based event where students got the chance to grab the treasure from the comfort of their homes, students were asked to find the answers with the help of the clues provided. It was held on 6th Nov 2020.
      4. Vocal for Local (Mantra for every Indian): It was the social and the creative  event held for the students to enhance their creativity by composing posters and advertisements so as to encourage the purchase of local goods. It was held on 22nd Nov 2020.
      1. MIT Daredevil (Come, Play ,win and slay ): After the long quarantine period it was the first event which was held offline, it was a fun based event where students were divided into teams and played various games like lemon race, sac race, cup balancing race ,etc. . It was held on 23rd Dec 2020.
      1. VLOGBUSTER (Reel out your creativity): This event was organized so can students could show their festive excitement in the form of vlogs or reels (genres can be either dramatic, funny, light hearted depending upon the participants). It was held on 17th April 2021.
      1. #SHE 2021: This event was conducted on the occasion of women’s day. It was a fun event organized for all the female students and staff, special guest Ms. Vandana Tyagi (Grads IT employee) was invited for the celebration.

      In Even Semester:

      1. Anime Amor (Probing your Jutsu): The hidden purpose behind the conduction of this event was to find out the creativity of the participants and to reduce the quarantine boredom. This event was divided into two rounds where round 1 was the quiz held on kahoot and round 2 was to make an animation video on any topic of any genre. It was held on 29th May 2021.
      1. Ad Station (It’s all about my college): The purpose of this event was to see what students think about their respective college as they were asked to create a short video for the college describing the qualities which attracted them to take during their B.Tech Journey. It was held on 21st June 2021.

      • DOSTON KI MEHFIL

      This event was carried out on 15TH February 2020 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by CSSS Society. This event was organized by students to celebrate the feeling of friendship. Dr. Rohit Garg (Director), Dr. Somesh Kumar (HOD CSE), faculty members and all the other staff members interacted with the students , enjoyed the event & the prize ceremony was conducted with gifts and surprises filled with chocolates & sweets .

      This event was carried out on 9th November  2019 in the department of Computer Science &  engineering  by CSSS Society. This event was most entertaining event for our students. this event was carried out by looking the madness of students for Online game “PUBG”. Students of all branches participated in this event with full enthusiasm and enjoyed a lot.

      • ARTSHALA

      This event was carried out on 30th October 2019 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by CSSS Society. This event was carried out to enhance the creativity of students and to present the thoughts of students in the form of art. Students represented their art on the sensible topics like ragging and college life.

      • CODER 6.0

      This event was carried out on 4th September 2019 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by CSSS Society. This event was organized to encourage students for making their programming skills better which would be helpful for them in the upcoming placement .winners were appreciated with attractive gifts.

      • TEACHER’S DAY

      This event was carried out on 4th September  2019 in the department of Computer Science & engineering  by CSSS  Society. This event was organized by students to give respect and honour  to their teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. Students gave some good titles to their teachers and entertain them with their poetic and singing skills. Some short games were also there for teachers.

      • MATAKI PHOR

      This event was carried out on 21ST  August  2019 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by  CSSS Society.this event was conducted on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtmi. Students enjoyed a lot by making the pyramids and to reach the goal (MATAKI) . This event was carried out to make alive the old tradition of KANHA KI MATKI on the special day of Lord Krishna’s birthday.

      This event was carried out on 6th October  2018 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by CSSS Society.This event was organized to refresh the students form their hectic  academic schedule and to motivate them for team work. 2nd round of this event also contained some brain storming questions.

      • SHOW YOUR TALENT

      This event was carried out on 8th November  2018 in the department of Computer Science &  engineering  by CSSS Society. This event provide an open stage for students to show their hidden talent. Students surprised the audience with their wonderful dancing, Singing ,Acting and Poetic skills.

      • WOMEN’S DAY

      This event was carried out on 8th March  2019 in the department of Computer Science & engineering by  CSSS Society. This event was organized on the special occasion of Women’s day to empower female students and faculties of the department. Different games were carried out which gave a massage to society . Some women’s from outside college were also appreciated.
